Talia participated in the Grade 5 Give it all you got writing project. Talia wrote about her grandfather who served in World Wars I & II. He worked as a weather communication specialist as well as serving on the USS Utah.
Talia learned about her grandfather and her family history. She learned about his jobs and the fact that her grandfather was in two world wars, that he left school at the age of 15 and he was a seaman until 1918
