I learned about a book. I learned about seeds and were planted to grow a plant. In order to grow seeds need water sunshine and warmth.

Today our Student Council that supporting people in need is important. They worked to raise $644.00 for #onefund

Today I learned that the name of a big foot like creature in Texas is a wooly booger.

Day 134 Julia H. Grade 4 Student

Julia' s class learned about plant cells. They created their own plant cells. Julia learned that a ribosome is a protein builder.

Day 133- Julia P. Grade 4 Student

Today I was able to read some student work. I was reading Julia's writing and I was so impressed with the quality and content. The prompt required her to write about an outstanding family member. Julia wrote about her Uncle and the work ethic that she learned from him.  Julia told me that her Uncle Scott teaches her alot!

Day 132- Recapping last night with the students.

I asked each of the students that participated in the School Committee meeting- What did you learn? Here are their responses;

Presentation is everything
School committee meetings are on television
You have to project your voice
Sometimes spur of the moment things are fun
Meetings can be scary
You always need to speak clearly
Speeches can be easier than you think
